Sad to see Message+ go away. I used it in my phone, tablet, and Windows laptop. Added to the pain was Verizon killing web access for texts. Spent the morning figuring out how to text again. Samsung messages app didn't work half the time. I now have Google Messages running with RCS disabled on my phone. No longer have access to texts on tablet or laptop. Will experiment with laptop and Google Messages later. Verizon customer support said tablet access no longer supported. Wasted enough time on this today. Message+ really added value to being a Verizon customer. Now the only value left is their coverage.
Google Messages is far superior. I'd enable RCS and if you want to text from a web browser go to https://messages.google.com/web and then scan the qr code with your google message app from the settings. Microsoft also has an app called Phone Link that you can install and configure similarly to work with google messages as well.
