Change to message plus searching Media

Did anyone else receive the notification from Verizon that says “Change to media in Conversations.” “Starting on Oct 20th, you will no longer have access to search for media files directly through the Message+ Application.

I can see that I have a key on the keyboard to search for a  GIF, but what about searching for a image on internet to attach to message?  All I see is a way to search Gallery. 

Does that mean I have to download an image to  my phone and then attach it to a message? I'll not be happy if thats the case.

Thanks! I have read a lot on that thread unfortunately everyone has the same questions but no real answers.
