I'm trying to figure out whether a message I received today from someone that I do not want to communicate with (number is now blocked) is delayed, or if it was actually sent today. If it was delayed, it would have been sent 5 and a half weeks ago -- has anyone *received* a message delayed for that long? I don't know what carrier this other person is on. I've been on Verizon - just switched this week to Droid Turbo from Droid Razr.
Really no way to tell. Your use won't show when it was sent only when it was received.
Is 5 a week-delay something that people have seen, though?
I have seen it between different carriers, especially one where any network maintenance was taking place. If you have had no other issues with other users, I'd suspect that it was sent on time.
