Last night I sent a text message that I had expected a reply to but never got such a reply. So later this evening I checked to be sure the message had sent, and I noticed that the message Sent: March 31 10m, but Delivered: April 1 7
m.
Now, to me, this means that the message did not get the recipients phone until nearly 19hrs later. I checked previous sent messages, and while only some people's phones give a Delivery receipt, those that do, always are delivered at either the exact time sent, or one minute later.
Due to the nature of this message, it just seemed like such a coincidence that the delivery would be delayed. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it possible the message was actually not received last night as it should have been, but instead, was received tonight?
Thanks.

Yes I have had this happen several times, it could be the system is being updated, heavy traffic on the internet, bad weather or the person was texting or on the phone, it doesn't happen to often but it does. The text is traveling through many towers, just like the mail is sometimes late. lol.

This happens to me almost every day, sometimes several times in one day. I have tried 5 times unsuccessfully to have this resolved. Same troubleshooting every time with no improvements. Complete waste of time.
