I am seeing the same problem from an LG enV3 to my Palm Pre.  I receive the message as multiple messages and I even receive emoticons but the sender receives an error.  Does this mean this new palm pre also doesn't support EMS?  I have seen conflicting information on various sites about this.  I find it pretty odd that this would not be supported on these new smart phones.  Any insight?

I am running WebOS v1.4

The Palm Pre Plus is not  enhanced messaging capable. Majority to none of the PDA/Smartphones and Blackberry device support enhance messaging.

None of these responses make sense. I have a VZ iPhone; my elderly neighbor has the VZ LG. We both have VZ accounts. Long texts are generally not an issue, but from time to time, I get this message. So why don't I get it every time there's a long message?
