If someone sends an email (US email address) from overseas to my phone as a text message does it cost money? And if it doesn't cost money, do they just send it to my 10 digit phone number?
They can send an email to your10digitnumber@Vtext.com and it will count as a text message. Or they can send a picture or song clip to your10digitnumber@vzwpix.com. Just be aware that text messages (SMS) should be short (160 characters) and picture messages (MMS) , whether they contain a picture or not, can contain up to 1000 characters.
