We've been having bounce issues with email messages sent to Verizon phone numbers via MMS the last 2 days (bounce messages below). Our Java application running on AWS sends an email message on certain triggers via Rackspace's SMTP service to an alias, which has 6 individuals on it, including some Verizon <phoneNumber>@vzwpix.com addresses. Generally it works fine (though we've seen delays at times), but in the last two days we've had bounce messages that Verizon's receiving mail service (appears to be Cloudmark / Proofpoint, at least as a proxy for security scanning) isn't reachable. And it's two different hostnames so it's not just a single server in the cluster.

The email messages are being sent through Rackspace's SMTP service to Verizon users using @vzwpix.com and/or @VTEXT.com addresses. The other users, all on AT&T, have received the email to MMS messages fine.
We had another two messages get bounced this morning, while two others (one before this and one after this) were received by the end users fine.

Getting full use of your service is the key to staying connected. I want to make sure that you get the help that you need, and have a couple of questions. Are you able to send an email from a standard POP email account such as Gmail to one single Vtext.com address? If you are not sure, please test.
Are you operating as a business or organization when sending these Vtexts?
