Email to Text Alias not working (vtext.com)

I had an alias set up on the VZW website for my "email to text" instead of using  the phone number (1234567890 @ vtext.com). This is no longer working. The "email to text" DOES work using the phone number, only not with the alias. I can no longer find the feature to update an alias on the current website. Please advise?

There are threads relating to the email-to-text and vice versa service that state it has been terminated and is no longer supported. Apparently, some of the servers that provided this service (vtext.com and vzwpix.com) still operate to some extent but are not being maintained. There is a business service, EMAG, that replaced the email-to-text for businesses.

Thank you for your inquiry, MOISHES. I do want to advise that Vtext/VZpix is a service that we are retiring. Please reference the link below for additional information.

@vzw_customer_support Can you post some definitive statement from Verizon regarding the email-to-text vtext.com and vzwpix.com services being retired?  That FAQ link is very OLD and doesn't provide any 'additional information' about retiring the service.

I'm curious too about the retirement date, simply because I'm here a lot and have seen concerns about the Vtext/Vzwpix services from people who are still managing to get some marginal functionality.
