Email to text delayed delivery

Not always but some of the time we have critical text message being delayed.  Here is the log:

My company is having the same issue. 30min - 12 hour delays when sending smtp to MS Exchange then to employees' cell number @VTEXT.com.

What is going on?

@vzw_customer_support I have tried to get someone to contact me for a few weeks regarding the Enterprise Messaging Access Gateway (EMAG) however i have not had any luck.

They told me to PM them.  So I did.  No response.  I doubt this is an issue in regards to us using the service but an issue on their end.  Sometimes it accepts messages some times it doesn't.  Sometimes it works going to their mms servers vs their sms servers, sometimes the other way around.  We are moving on and not depending on Verizon any more.  Which from what it sounds like, it is what they want.

Ebony, we are not subscribed to a Verizon Enterprise Messaging plan. For years we've been successful using the free service for email to txt messaging.

Unless our email to txt volume were to increase, I doubt management will approve a paid sub when the free "just worked" for so long.

There are three numbers having the issue that I know of. Two company owned phones and one person phone. These are emails from an Exchange server to Verizon. They are text only emails. They are automated emails from Windows servers.

Themanwiththe plan, we know that it is crucial to receive these messages in a timely manner. Do you happen to know if the messages are sent via the mobile numbers to the devices or via VText? Do we know what make these phones are? I am not sure you are reading my responses on this thread or understanding the issue.  This is an issue with your servers not with the phones.  In my log file is shows a text trying to go thru for hours with failed connections to your servers.

I already said the messages were sent from a windows server to an exchange server to your server.  The failure is connecting to your server.  The text never gets a chance to get to our phone. 

I can provide the phone models but it is irrelevant.  We were not on Wi-FI but that is irrelevant too.

We are having the same problem at our company since approx. last Thursday 9/30. We use email to text to send notifications to our employees working in the field. All other carriers are working fine, except VERIZON (ie. vzwpix.com & vtext.com). Our employees with Verizon are either getting EXTREMELY delayed messages or they are failing all together. We have tried from our company email that we have used for decades without issues and even my personal email. 

We are a couple of examples of the the following errors we are getting...

10/5/2021 10:31:05 PM - Server at MWHPR16MB0062.namprd16.prod.outlook.com returned '550 5.4.300 Message expired -> 421 4.4.2 Connection dropped due to SocketError'
10/5/2021 10:29:44 PM - Server at vrz-mms.mx.a.cloudfilter.net (52.33.196.155) returned '421 4.4.2 Connection dropped due to SocketError'

or

10/5/2021 10:28:14 PM - Server at MWHPR16MB1808.namprd16.prod.outlook.com returned '550 5.4.300 Message expired -> 421 4.4.2 Connection dropped due to ConnectionReset'
10/5/2021 10:27:12 PM - Server at vrz-mms.mx.a.cloudfilter.net (34.206.23.195) returned '421 4.4.2 Connection dropped due to ConnectionReset'
