shmuel3641, we'd love to help take a closer look into this issue regarding Vtext. Please tell us, is this affecting all e-mails or only certain e-mails that you send to @vzwpix? To clarify, are you sending these messages from a personal e-mail account? If so, do you recall making any recent changes to your e-mail account? We definitely appreciate any additional information you can provide.

shmuel3641, it is odd to hear that this is occurring. Do you have another email address to test out to see if it sends from that one (not your Gmail one)? Does the same thing occur?

Sending to @VTEXT fails for us, we used @vzpix successfully, but wed don't know if it will be reliable or not.
Our senders are from various addresses, both Gmail, and Microsoft addresses . The recipients vary.

TimPa The Vtext.com service is not indented to be used for large volumes of commercial messages. Due to the inherent limitations of Internet email, we are no able to provied assurance regarding the timelineness or receipt of messages sent using this service. Business and organizations looking to send a high volume of messages should subscribe to Verizon Enterprise Messaging.

I am NOT a corporate employee and do NOT send large volumes of commercial or otherwise messages. A SINGLE email to vtext.com or vzwpix.com fails or is delayed from Google Mail.

I'm also having the same problem on multiple Verizon phones when emails are sent from Gmail or iCloud email addresses. The either show up 3 to 18 hours later or we get a message that the Verizon server blocked the connection.

This is currenly a known issue. There have been reports of server timeouts/error messages as well as delays in sending messages from Gmail accounts. Messages from Gmail/G suites to VZ consumer domains may be throttled or blocked due to high volumes of malicious messages originating from Gmail email addresses using Google's outbound services. This does not have anything to do with the specific sender, but with the volume of malicious messages received from Gmail as a whole. System enhancements will be going into place on the 23rd that will hopefully help to alleviate the malicious content volume, thereby reducing delays on normal emails from gmail's servers.

You should tell your chat support and phone support this is a "known issue." I just spent almost an hour on the phone with a tech who didn't know anything about this.

I'm also having the same issues. Been receiving sms (vzwpics) alerts from Blue Iris for 4 years without any problems. Now the messages are delayed anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours. BAD when we're talking about home security alerts!

Some of my sends to vtext.com are working, some are completely failing, some are being delayed by as much as 12 hours. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!

What I find perplexing about this whole thing is.. doesn't either Verizon or Gmail see these errors popping up anywhere? We, the end users, are the only ones getting them??

4oldman, we know it is frustrating that you are not receiving all your messages. Did this just recently begin? What error messages are you specifically receiving?

It appears to be working again, although sometimes the messages are delayed.
All the details about this problem have been previously posted on this thread. It would be helpful if Verizon employees responding to this thread would READ the entire thread before asking repetitive questions.

I had the exact same problem for a couple weeks so after 4 hours on the phone and 2 tickets later, they tell me they can't guarantee delivery from Gmail to vzwpix.
Although this problem seems to be fixed now, if I keep having this problem, I'll be switching to att

I am still having issues with messages from Gmail to VZWPIX.
I am having issues when using a mail client using SMTP, but also right from the Gmail interface. I noticed that there's a SMALL chance the message will go through if you send it from the Gmail interface but there is 0% chance from the mail client using SMTP.
Any tips on how anyone else got messages to VZWPIX working again?

I have been sending 1 to 5 emails to text for years from work. Both VZWPIX and vtext.com bounce/return the email with 552 5.2.0 error message (sender rejected)
Something has changed. And it is broken at the moment
