Env3 spacebar freezes phone when texting.

Just starting happening today that when I use a space the phone will freeze when trying to text. All updates are up to date. The spacebar still works fine when not texting but will freeze the phone when trying to type. Tried taking the battery out for awhile and that didn't do anything, is there anything else I can do? Thanks!

Are you still experiencing difficulty with the space key not functioning properly? If so, please make sure you have the latest software version on your device.  You can check this by following these steps:

1. From the main Menu, select the Menu key
2. Select Settings and Tools and press OK
3. Select Phone Info and press OK
4. Scroll to SW/HW Version
5. SW version should be VX920V03

I am having the same problem at this time. I checked to see if there are any new upgrades available and got this message: SERVER UNAVAILABLE

Check for Software Update under Setting and Tools -> Phone Info when service is available.

I have tried several times and have gotten the same message each time.
