I have been getting harassing text messages and I erased them without thinking and now I don't have any proof of these messages. Is there anyway to retrieve old text messages.
Depends on how old - they are stored on Verizon's servers for a short time (a matter of days only, I believe). And it will also take a court order; if law enforcement is involved in this harassment, then you can go that route. In a normal situations, once the messages are deleted from your phone, they are gone.
