My wife has an S21 ultra running the latest version of Verizon Messages. This doesnt happen evertime, but maybe every 3-4 times she sends a Facebook link or a link from a retail site, like Buckle, the person receiving her text will get the origial text then another 2nd text comes in after the first one that looks like this:
We tested it again today and after a couple tries of sending the text back to herself, we got another message like the one above.
I did the Clear data and Clear cach inside Message+, then uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still happens. I also cleared the phone cache as well (Where you turn the phone off and hold down the down volume and power at the same time on the reboot then clear the cache. Still the problem remains. I did notice that when I first went into the Message+ app she had over 2 Terabytes of information. Which is why I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now she has App 175 mb and data 154 mb and cache 26.35 mb. I also ran Bitdefender Free and found nothing on malware.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there! Sorry to heart the attachment was removed.
Is this related with a business, postpaid or prepaid account?

As a valued customer, your device and service concerns are our concerns too.
Thank you for such detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps you've completed so far.
May I ask are you experiencing similar issues with any other apps? Like device software updates, apps also update. We've noted that you've uninstalled and reinstalled the Message + app. Have you done the same for the Facebook app?
We're here to help you in any way we can.

Its not related to any app
It doesnt happen with every text I send to her or other people send texts to her.
I sent her (Hether) 2 text messages last night. No links were attached. The first text simply said "Ok" and the second text said "U want me to take Louie?" Coming back to me were these 2 responses either from her phone or could be from Verizon servers? I did just verify she got both text messages from me.

It only happens once a day now. Which is why I havent had her switch.
My wife and I are both runnign the same version of Verizon Messages and the same setting (stock settings, no changes). We both have S21 Ultras on the same latest version of firmware and OS updates.
We are seeing that its only Verizon to Verizon phones getting this weird 2nd text.
We ran virus detection and didnt find anything.
Does this sound like something coming from a Verizon server? Sure looks like a server type message to me but only Verizon IT could tell us that.
Or is it a virus?

And take a look at this link. This is for SMPP DLR service. This appears to have the same format of the message my wife is getting:
For Kannel users, use msg-id-type=0x01.
Format of the deliver_sm (DLR): "id:XXXXXXXXXX sub:001 dlvrd:000 submit date:YYMMDDHHMM done date:YYMMDDHHMM stat:ZZZZZZZ err:YYY text:none

I'd be reaching out as well if the text messages were coming in looking like this. We're eager to get this resolved. What difference does she experience if she uses the native text messaging application as opposed to Message+? Also, when she has downtime, I'd recommend putting the phone in Safe Mode (shown here: http://spr.ly/66073XYd9) and using the phone for a couple of hours to see how it behaves and if the same issue persists.
Let us know how this goes!
