Switching to Google Messages is the worst thing Verizon could do. Should have stayed with Messages+. You can not have your favorite message contacts at the top of the screen, instead you have to search for them. They put them in order of receiving them instead, so if you have multiple venues messaging you from like places you signed up at say HomeGoods store or whatever that blows up your phone with deals are always going to be first. If you are a busy person in a hurry and need to send a quick message to your kids or other important people, you have to search for them. If someone you are messaging does not use Google messages it changes your text/box/message to theirs, so that throws you off just looking at it. You cannot mute certain messages or it does all of them. You cannot change color icons for individuals so that you just glance at the message list and click on the one you need, they all look the same, so you literally have to stare at your phone and go through them to find the one message you need. Google messages is a horrible messaging app for those on the go, that do not have the time to stare at their phones. Why switch to a downgraded beginners version of messages? Bad choice Verizon. #badgooglemessageschoice ##shouldhavestayedwithmessages+ #verizondowngraded
