I have been using the app without a problem; however, I can't "activate account". My profile won't show on receiving end. I have the latest version also. How can I activate my messaging plus account?

If you are using Messaging +, it seems that is IS activated? What are you expecting the "activation" to give you that you don't have now?
Are you trying to set the account up to use multiple devices, like your laptop or a tablet? In that case, the "activation" would occur as Messages+ is installed and set up on those other devices.
