How do I delete dupulicate numbers of the same person in Verizon Messages?

I use Verizon Messages and when I switched to this text program I noticed that names and the same number are listed more then one time. How do I clean that up?

I definitely want to have your contact list looking clean just the way you'd like! Is this only on your Verizon Messages contact list? Do the contacts have any differences (ie 1 before the 10 digit number)? When did this start exactly? Was it always this way?

I have no 1 in front of 10 digit number. It is only on Verizon messages I have the issue. My contact list shows single name with multiple numbers like it should

Thank you for the additional details. What make/model device do you have? Are all your contacts doubled in Verizon Messages or just some? As the contacts for Verizon Messages are usually pulled from the VZ Cloud, when you log into the VZ Cloud on your computer does it show your contacts doubled there? http://vz.to/1vWURpT http://vz.to/1zso1SD
