I read previous discussion where you go to task mananger and turn it off. The Verizon messaging app is not appearing in the task manager start up tab.
What make/model/OS desktop/laptop are you having the issue on? I'm assuming the previous discussion was Re: Can I add messages+ to startup menu in Windows10?
I am running Window 10 Pro. It is a Lenovo Thinkpad. The previous discussion was on how to stop messenger from automatically loading when the computer boots. Verizon messenger does not show up in task manager, start up tab.
The link I provided of a previous discussion detailed what to do if Message+ didn't show up in Task Manager->Startup tab. You right-click on the Windows icon (bottom left) and select Run. Enter shell:startup in the Run box. Does Message+ show up there? If so, delete it.
It's not showing up there either.
One more thing....does it show up in the task bar, bottom right of screen? If so, "You can also right click the program in the task tray near the clock and choose to disable auto start."
And another...what version of Message+ do you have? Have you tried uninstalling/re-installing?
It's not in the task tray. Version 2.0.2.0
Interesting, my Windows 10 PC Desktop version of Message+ is 1.0.17.0. Where did you find your version to download?
I think on verizon.com
Have you tried 'Send Feedback' when in the app? Not sure if you'll get any reply or satisfaction, but worth a try.
