How do I view the numbers of people I sent texts to?

I lost my friends number and I know I sent him texts but I cant figure out how to see the numbers ive texted. Ive read its possible but dont know how.

On the my Verizon account under "Usage" Of your texts there should be a button called Details. Click this and it will bring  up all your texts.
