If you are the account owner on a contract plan (not prepaid), then you can view the times, dates, and numbers texted to and from by viewing your bill, and messaging details. If you are on a family plan and NOT the account owner, you will only see summary information for your number.
Prepaid, as I understand it, does not get details for specific numbers on texting.

Hello Temple! You can view your message detail online at vzw.com. Please follow the instructions below:
1. Sign in to My Verizon.
2. Locate the I Want To... section.
3. Do one of the following:
-In the BILL column click View Bill.
-Under the My Bill pod of the home page click View Bill.
4. Select the desired Billing Statement date.
5.Click Usage Details for detailed usage and charges by mobile number.

Hello there! I was able to follow the previous instructions exactly to view my previous bills and usage details. If you don't have the option for View Bill, your line may not be setup as the Account Owner. If so, you will need to sign in as the Account Owner or request their login info. Are you trying to view current usage or previous billed usage? To view current usage, click Usage Details from the Home screen. Then select View Messaging Details.
Let me know if you need further assistance accessing your usage details.
