How to fix "Internal Server Error" on Mac OS X Sonoma(14.0)

Hi all...I've seen other posts regarding "Internal Server Error" on Mac OS X. I'm on Sonoma (14.0) on an M2 Macbook Pro.

I installed

and when I try to type in the security code during setup I get "Internal Server Error".

I have already tried the suggestion to un-check "Contacts" access in settings.

Message+ is unusable for me.

Help!

I'd given up on trying to use the MacOS version for years. I was fine using the website, but now when I log in it says that it will stop working after December 11th! If VZ doesn't fix this ongoing issue, how useful is the app or the service?

I've spent all morning looking for solutions and it seems the only thing ever suggested is to uncheck the contacts. This has never worked for me, and it isn't working now.

Please fix this issue, VZ.

(MacOS Sonoma on Intel i5 using OCLP -- but never this app has never worked before OCLP either)

the error message "internal server error" is useless.  does the app write a log and does the log have more specific information?  is it a privilege issue since mac sonoma has tightened up privileges?

Version 3.0.5 just came out a couple weeks ago!

Oh, but it STILL gives the lame "Internal Server Error". To remove the web applet and leave users without a way to message at their computers is ridiculous. False hope, my friends. False hopes.
