How to restore text messages

I have an android note and need to restore text messages from the cloud for one contact. Thank you

themzpat, I can understand the importance in having the most important messages restored on your device. In order to complete this task you must back up only the text messages from this one contact. Otherwise, the system will restore all messages (from everyone) that has been backed up.
