My older text messages are automatically being deleted from my Samsung s21 phone. How do I prevent that or save my older messages that I want to save?

Hello, Jmbe. I am sure you do not want your old messages to be deleted. This sounds like it has to do with storage on your phone. I do want to make sure we look into every aspect. Have you checked your storage? What messaging application are you using on the phone? Please tell me more.

Hi Amber,
I am using Verizon Message+. I have checked my storage. I have 85.6 GB Available. I also have 1.7 GB memory available.
The issue is I went on a European trip with 3 friends in October and we had a Group MMS. When I recently reviewed the thread to see something in the past, the furthest I could go back was October 18th. I can not scroll back any further.
Thanks for looking into this for me.
Jmbe
