I am also having problems with the huge data usage with the I-phone 5? I have only talked to Verizon once and they played dumb. I will go to the store tomorrow. Anyone have luck getting answers from them?

Just a question. Can you shut off IPv6 on the Iphone? If so I believe that will solve the issue.

I was at the Apple store yesterday and one of the specialist shared with me that Verizon has a software problem that they are still trying to work out; apparently when your phone is switched to WI-FI for data, Verizon is still counting that data that is being transmitted as cellular data, hence maybe the reason for the overages. Don't know if the fix has been implemented yet...

That lawsuit will fail. Sorry regardless of how it is happening you have to prove they have intent. Since it's not Verizon's code and they don't touch the code that would be hard to prove. None of this stuff came up during beta testing 7.0 in ADC. With the release of 7.0 it wasn't happening either. This didn't start popping up until the 7.0.3 release which never got tested in ADC. Apple introduced a bug in 7.0.3 and it's up to Apple to fix it.
The even on WiFi deal happens when the screen in off. It is long documented that iPhones when the phone sleeps it disables WiFi until the screen comes back on.
