I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME. PIX PLACE/ONLINE ALBUM HELP!!!

:smileysad: I don't know if anybody on here can help me or not, but it's worth a shot. I had my own account for years. I would send pictures to my online album/Pix Place. In February/March of this year, my dad decided it would be easier to put me back on his account cause I went back to school last year and don't have a job. So that's what he did. He transferred my account over to his. Before doing this, he asked the rep if all my stuff would stay the same. They assured him it would. About 2 weeks ago I went to log into my Pix Place. Couldn't do it, it kept changing my phone number over to my dad's. So I called customer service and the rep said that because my dad now took over my account I would need his password and ID to log in. I asked him if all my pictures were still there and the rep said he would check (which he said he did) and that, yes, they were still there, just under my dad's account. So I got my dad's info, and went to log on. Nothing under my dad's account (he never used this feature). My dad then called customer service and explained what happened but didn't know all the details, so the rep suggested to have me call once my dad gave them permission to have me access his account. I called a few days ago, explained to a different rep what happened and she told me she was pretty sure that once I transferred my account over to my dad's, all my stuff was deleted. She double checked with the tech people while I was on hold, and said yes, that's what happens. I asked her why the first rep assured me my pics were still there and she didn't know. I was hysterical. I have pictures on there of people/pets that have died and can't retrieve them. Is there any way to get these back? Why would they delete all my info when I was just switching over to my dad's account? I can understand if I completely deleted my number, etc., but I didn't. Anyways, does anyone know if my pictures are definitely gone since I've gotten 3 different answers? I wrote customer service on Saturday, and they said they normally write back within 24 hours, but I have yet to hear from them. I am so unbelievably upset and disappointed I can't even tell you. Sorry to ramble on, but I am desperate for anyone's help/opinion. Thank you so much. :smileysad:

Unfortunately, all of your pics are gone and there is no way to retrieve them. Verizon most likely deleted them to conserve space since your old account was merged with your fathers. They should have merged your pics with his when then new account was created. Sorry that all of your pics are gone, that would really suck.

From what I understand, the online accounts (whether it is My Verizon or Pix Place) all run off of your account number. When you switched to your dad's account your acct. # changed, so your online user name and password would have to change as well. It would reset all of your online accounts.Sorry...

You would have to call into Tech, who would then open a Remedy ticket with the NRB on her mobile number.  If you are outside of the 15 days, then the account will not be able to be recovered.
