I can I get to my message history from contacts in my phone?

I'm trying to use my message history as evidence in court. Is it possible for me to get my message history between me and my contacts in my phone?

What kind of phone do you have? For Android devices there are several SMS Backup applications available in the Play Store.

They have already been deleted.

If the texts have already been deleted from your phone and you didn't have them backed up anywhere, then I'm afraid they're gone.  You could get a court order for VzW to release what they have, but they usually only have about the last 10 days' worth, if that.
