Account manager? Don't think so. I enter my phone number as I've done for years. She's primary on the account.
I'm using ver. 1.0.17.0.

Was Message+ ever installed originally on that PC? If so, you might need to remove all files from the directory used or uninstall and remove all data files/cache. Have you tried downloading and installing the Message+ v2.0.2.0? See this post:

Hello @jav6, This is the latest verizon problem or issue for all windows user it has been going on for a while now. If you install verizon messages from the 2 drop boxes link in all your threads i have been following it will bring error message when you enter the code. "There's an error trying to connect to the server please try again in some minutes" Just try setting up a new desktop by downloading the 2.0 version and the 1.7 version it will bring this same error message . Please if theres any thing i can do

Thanks for all the replies.
I had Message+ 2.0 installed and working well.
When I got a new phone - Verizon Moto Edge+ - and installed the Android app on it the PC copy stopped working.
I uninstalled the PC copy using Revo Uninstaller. I assume that got rid of the program and registry installation for my original copy.
I installed 1.7 from a file I had saved. That was the copy that prompted my original post.
I uninstalled 1.7 and installed 2.0 from your link.
I now get the server errror response you mentioned.
I can see why Verizon pulled Message+. It doesn't seem to have kept up with the Windows 10 updates.
Anyway, that's where I am now.

Hello, Tahoebrugan.
We want to help! To clarify, are you receiving this 'Invalid PIN' message on a web browser or on Messages+? Please feel free to send us a Private Note if you still need assistance.

Well, there is now a Win10 Message+ version 3.0.0 in the Microsoft Store, if you haven't seen the couple threads today about it. Looks like the Verizon Messaging Team is working on getting it working again, but they may have more work to do. Looks like they may have placed it in the Store prematurely, unless they did it for testing.
