My cell is on my husband's account. About a month ago texts sent to both our cells came to his as a text but to mine as an email. They also showed in my email on my laptop. I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon tech support last week, who said he fixed the problem. He didn't, it is still happening.
Has anyone else had this issue?
We've been Verizon customers for 30+ years but are about ready to switch carriers if this can't be resolved.

We're sorry about the problems you're having with your text messages and we definitely want to make sure this is taken care of. What kind of phones do you and your husband have? Does this happen with all texts or just some?

We have Samsung Galaxy S 24s, which we got new from Verizon in Sep. 2024. The problem seems to be with texts sent from our local area, Rehoboth Beach/Lewes DE, as texts sent from Florida to us both come in as texts to both phones. One of the phones that the texts get converted is on Verizon and the other is AT&T. I talked with Verizon tech support through the 800 number in the last 10 days or so. He thought the problem was because both phones are on the same account and said that he had fixed the issue. It is not fixed, however. Would appreciate your help.

We would love to take a closer look at your situation. In order to do this, we will need to access your account to try and troubleshoot the issue. Would this be okay with you?
