Why is my Verizon message + app keep telling me that I'm not connected to the inegrated messaging

We definitely want your Message+ app to be in perfect working order. When did this first begin happening? What version do you have installed (go to menu >> about and share the version)?

Have you subscribed to integrated messaging? What are you exactly doing on your phone when the app is telling you this?
