Is someone viewing my text messages without having my actual phone?

is there a way to find out if someone has been downloading text messages-i.e. is it trackable?  is it possible to do on the  VZ website?  i did not have a smart phone, so no apps.  how would it have been possible?  it happened, just trying to figure out how and for how long...thanks for any insight.
