LG Voyager Issues

My husband and I got the LG Voyager. We previously had the Pantech Crux. He didn't like it because it didn't have a keyboard. So we switched. However.... We are not able to send picture messages, objects via Bluetooth, among other things (these are the two we were most concerned with). We have called Verizon and were told they weren't able to be fixed... I know they can because they have the capability of the action in the first place. Is there anything else we can try to get this stuff to function like it's supposed to???

I apologize if I'm going to suggest things you've already thought of.

 

- we have an older LG phone that is more limited in terms of what it will and will not permit you to transmit via Bluetooth. The Voyager is an older phone, and maybe what you're trying to transmit is a permanent part of the list of things that the phone can not transmit by Bluetooth

 

- we have two fairly recently released phones that not only lets you push a file but also lets you browse the files residing on another phone so that you can pull a file via Bluetooth. Maybe you can transfer a file from the Voyager to phone #2 if phone #2 has an option to browse the files on the Voyager and pull a file from it

 

- When trying to transfer a file by Bluetooth between two phones, I noticed that it's not enough for both phones to have bluetooth be turned on and to be connected to each other by Bluetooth. The Bluetooth transmission has failed if one of the two phones is in "Airplane mode".

I had (and still have) an LG Voyager and sent and received picture messages frequently. I didn't use the bluetooth capability, but had no issues with picture messages. What happens when you try to send a picture message?

I have tried Bluetooth. It says that I can send the files through Bluetooth but it will not allow it on either phone. I have tried sending a regular message as well. Nothing has worked thus far...

When we try to send picture messages, it always says message receipt failed or even when one is being sent it says message delivery failed... Not sure what the deal is...

As as workaround, if the Voyager lets you insert a memory card then you could download the images to your computer and then email the pictures to someone's cellphone number or email account.
