I just tried using the app, but when I tried opening it, it showed a virus warning; uninstalling it and reinstalling it yielded the same problem.
Device: 2015 MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.12.6
Antivirus: Avast with definitions 17090804, program version 12.8

While we here at Verizon Wireless support have zero training on Avast, I was able to scrounge up a potential solution from an old forum thread, edwardw818.
