Media Search option on Message Plus isn't working

The Media Search option on Message Plus isn't working on my Galaxy S6. Whenever I type in a phrase to search (either for image, video or gif) it just clocks and clocks and eventually turns up a black screen. I've tried searching really generic phrases like "hi" or "cat", which I'm certain actually do have results. I've tried restarting my phone and clearing the cache for Message Plus. What else can I do to solve this?
