Message Plus not syncing with windows 10

I can send and receive texts from my android phone using message+.  I installed message+ on my windows 10 laptop.  I can send messages from the laptop and they are received by the person I sent them to, but do not sync to my phone.   Also messages sent on my phone do not show up on my laptop.  I removed message+ and reinstalled it but the problem persists.

Microsoft has made many security changes since the old version.  Verizon should make necessary updates to the old non MS store version and get us a working module.

I'm sorry to hear your message + application on your Windows device isn't syncing rechmbrs. The Message+ application is not compatible with Windows 10 computers. The Windows messaging client for Verizon messages is being temporarily removed to prevent syncing issues. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. You can utilize the messaging web client as a windows alternative by following the steps in this link below

1. The Windoze Message + client and the MS Store Messages + have both either not synched at all or intermittently for a few weeks now.  2. The web page for Message + has ALWAYS been flaky, buggy, unreliable.  One message goes.  Next one says SENDING forever.  Unpredictable.  It can stop working in the middle of a text conversation - or hours later.  Resynch really doesn't.  If you F5 the page you get logged out.  When you log back in, if it doesn't suddenly ask a challenge question you never actually setup, it might work.  Or, the moment you start typing it does some form of page refresh.  So Verizon, your services is VERY expensive.  It would be really nice if this critical part of it actually worked!  And for now, a viable ETA towards a fix.

Not to pile on (since that probably wouldn't change anything) but this is my situation too.  The desktop APP was a wonderful thing, and now it is not.  I am running v2.0.2.0 on my Windows 10 PC (Windows Pro, 64 bit version) and have been foir years but it stopped being reliable this year.  I hope there is a fix, as I have no cell service at my home so rely on the wifi option with Message+

Do you have new information on the Message+ PC app on Win10 sync'ing issue?  Not sure what/who you are responding to here.  There are hundreds of users interested in this issue and using PM to share info (non-private) doesn't help the rest of us.

I got messages threatening to cut me off from Message + on my PC unless I installed the latest software.  I did so, and discovered that the SYNCH command is missing from this version, PLUS it does not automatically download my prior messages like the old Windows Message + does.  That makes this version virtually useless.  And I need it because, given my arthritis, it's very hard for me to text on my phone.

This app is no longer available because it is broken.

 

I communicated with Ronan Dunne, Executive Vice President and Group CEO—Verizon Consumer, and he had two of his aides to contact me.  Both agreed that this app is no longer available but is being worked on by their IT group.  They did not have a date for a fix.  Their recommendation is to use the web browser version of Message+.  After login to MyVerizon go to Account>Text Online for the browser version.  It is not fully working either but most of your Texts will sync.

Back to the garbage again!  As badly and inconsistently the original (not MS store) M+app is working, it still functions far better than the attrocious M+ web page.  The web page misses piles of messages, constantly disconnects or logs out.  And for whoever doesn't know, this insanity has been going on at least since August 2019.  Or was that 2018?  No clue who did what at Verizon to so badly break their messaging systems, but you'd think they could have fixed them by now.

Welcome to the merry-go-round that is Messenger (or Message+).  If you read through all the posts and try all the suggestions you will find no resolve as yet.

I figure the next thing to be suggested is to reinstall the OS (I say that tongue and cheek)....

Something is definately amiss.  And as far as we know, nothing substantials has been offered as yet to fix the problem...

Dear Verizon,  This is still not working.  It appears many users have this problem.  It may have coincided with a Windows 10 upgrade pack.  Please dont private message me and ask me basic questions like "please clarify that it is not working.  This program is not working with Windows 10.  There was probably a security patch with the new Windows 10 software that is blocking the incoming message stream.  Report this to the development team.  And please provide a status to all us here.
