Message Plus not syncing with windows 10

I can send and receive texts from my android phone using message+.  I installed message+ on my windows 10 laptop.  I can send messages from the laptop and they are received by the person I sent them to, but do not sync to my phone.   Also messages sent on my phone do not show up on my laptop.  I removed message+ and reinstalled it but the problem persists.

By the way, the web version of texting is of no use at all. Traveling international is worthless as I constantly need to renter a code to get access to the web page and to get ther code, my phone needs to be active.

Interestingly for me, the only texts I am receiving on my desktop (Windows10) is from a family member on the same plan.   But still not receiving anything from any other contacts.

Not working for me. I'm on Windows 7. If I send from the pc app, recipients receive my message. When they reply, it shows up on my Galaxy Note 9 Message plus, but not on the PC app.

Typical of all these big communication\Cable companies,  We have few options, so why provide applications that work.  No need, but my Bill always shows up ontime.

I've been using the site in the link you shared for years and it started acting fickle a couple of weeks ago.  It receives messages, but most often will not send them, and constantly refreshes itself.

Do you have problems with the Message+ app syncing contact names?  Mine only shows phone numbers and not the actual contact names.

Add me to the list of users who, likewise, are experiencing 1-way sync with the MESSAGE+ app for Windows 10.

My gut feeling is that this issue will not be resolved, and, Verizon will drop the app. Microsoft's decision to discontinue WIndows Mobile and focus on bringing apps to Android and iOS seems to have triggered more developers to abandon the Windows platform altogether.

I hope this isn't the case here, but, it is now a "wait & see" situation.

This isn't about the Windows Platform for cell phones.  This is about Verizon pushing their own messaging platform outside of the Google defualt, providing the ability to access it from their customers PC via a Windows or MS Store app (which allows someone to see emails on their desktop, and to create emails using a normal PC keyboard - which allows for more detailed and more accurate emails, and helps people with arthritis and other issues, and then breaking the PC side of the service with poorly supported programs and web interface.  Verizon charges a lot but their support has been, IMHO, getting a lot worse.  They break a major part of the service and then provide infrequent, vague reassurances that somehow all will be just fine some day, or month, or year.

Having the same issue that started on Saturday while I was using the hotel WiFi. I noticed right away that my phone and W10 Message+ was not working. Getting home is did not resume synching.

I can't find the OP that turned me on to this solution from last week, but I'd like to give him the credit for it.  If you are fortunate enough to be an Android user there is an app on GitHub that works fantastic called android-messages-desktop (https://github.com/chrisknepper/android-messages-desktop)  It will run in the background and minimize to the tray.  It basically takes the android messages web interface and wraps it in desktop applicaiton interface.  The developer is actively working on it and is probably wondering why he just got a big spike in downloads!

Anyway, you will need to go the "Latest Releases" and download the  Android-Messages-Setup app.

Oh, and you WILL need to make Android Messages your default message app.

Verizon - any resolution on this?  Message+ does not sync on Windows 10.  Is there an update?

Website version is working if I refresh (F5) before attempting to write or send.  Otherwise, the text disappears and is never received.

Please fix this also.

I switched to Google Messages, until Verizon fixes the Windows 10 app.  I have also noticed a lack of sync to Android tablets.  Verizon does not respond to my emails to their software people through Google Market.  I would think they would have better customer service, and be more responsive to fix this serious problem in their software.

Same problem here. It works randomly. May have to dump it.

We understand it is important for you to be able to sync your messages on the Message+ app across your devices, KLC4. Since this issue started have you unsubscribed from Integrated Messaging and then re-subscribed? We ask because this refresh process typically fixes this syncing issue with computers.

If you have not done this already, you can do this from the Message+ app on your phone. Tap the Menu icon on the upper left of the screen in the Verizon Messages (Messages+) app, tap Settings, Scroll to and tap Unsubscribe.

On my phone, Moto g7 - Android 9, I do not have an Integrated Messaging as an item or in any of the MENU items.  There is no Unsubscribe anywhere.

rechmbrs, we apologize for any confusion. To unsubscribe, your Verizon Message+ account would need to be deleted. Within the Verizon Message+ app, please follow this path:

Click the menu icon>>Settings>>Account>>Delete my account.

Please keep in mind that this will unsubscribe you from Message+, and your messaging history will be removed from our network. Additionally, you will be removed from groups you are a participant in. Afterwards, you can resubscribe to Message+ by launching the Message+ app, and completing the app set up process again. Please let us know if this yields any results on your end.

#Customer support

I'm not going to unsubscribe and have all texts etc. deleted.

I want to hear from a Verizon Vice President as to what is going on with this problem and if it will be fixed.  Then when it will be fixed.

The post I responded to demonstrates that Customer Support doesn't even know how to unsubscribe!!!!!

I will unsubscribe from Verizon completely if this is not fixed soon.

I agree 1000%.  Having to completely remove account and all historic messages is not a valid fix for this issue.  And having that canned message of unsubscribing scattered throughout this thread without it even being a thing (instructions are incorrect at best) is not acceptable.  Very bad customer support.
