Something strange has happened on 7-Oct (not even Halloween). Up until that date, all my text messaging was syncing across phones, tablets, and PC's. Now all sync has stopped. Removing and reinstalling the various PC and Android apps has no impact. I have not seen that anyone else is having issues like mine, but any feedback would be appreciated. Since it appears that Verizon no longer has a real customer support, either web or phone, to handle these types of issues, the Community appears to be the only method of getting help.
thanks,
Bob

I have a disability and I can't interact independently with a cell phone. But I can interact independently with my PC thanks to some assistive technology I have. I have been using message + on my PC โ downloaded from Verizon โ to get texts forwarded to my PC. This has worked great for a couple of years. But starting a couple of weeks ago not all the messages were being forwarded to my PC. Now, for at least 24 hours I am not getting any messages at all forwarded from my cell to my PC. I NEED message + to receive texts on my PC or I simply cannot text. And I have gotten used to communicating that way.
I hope someone can help.
I was considering uninstalling message and reinstalling it but that did not work for the OP here.
Thank you,
Tom

Tom_NY,
We totally get that Message+ is that way that you need to keep in contact with your friends and family, so we want nothing more than for the online tool to work for you. Let's figure out what's going on. Are you able to send messages from the PC? What happens if you log into Message+ on our website using this link http://vz.to/2eL1zSk ? Do the received messages appear there?

For me, I am at the latest version of Message+ on my iPhone iOS 10.0.2 and Mac with Sierra. I also tried the browser version. In all of these, I can send texts out but cannot receive any. They are all in sync with each other. Started some time late 10/15/16 or early 10/16/16. Thank you.

I have 3 phone numbers in my Verizon household and Message + for all three numbers only will send out but not receive any messages that all the phones receive with no problem. I went to the link you gave for the website messages and my messages ARE NOT there either. None of my PCs, or tablets are receiving messages. Is there something you have to reset on your end? Earlier in the month I would only receive an occasional integrated message on the pc or tablets but as of last Thursday, I am receiving none. Please help. Thanks.

Same problem. My main phone is an android and I am using message plus on an iPad. About a week ago I noticed incoming messages were only appearing sporadically on the iPad. This past weekend they stopped appearing on the iPad altogether. I have deleted and reinstalled the apps on both the android and the iPad several times as well as re registering the iPad. The incoming messages are also not appearing on the Verizon website. This is obviously a Verizon problem, but the question is will Verizon own up to it?

For me it stopped working on or about 10/13. Neither Message+ on desktop nor Web app on laptop shows recent incoming messages that I can see on my phone. Not sure exact date/time - but recently I upgraded to newest IOS version on mine IPhone 5s, and I checked - iMessages are turned off on mine iphone. Seeing that messages are not synced either to Message+ or Web app, I would think issue is on messaging server, but not sure about it. I still can send messages from Message+, but cannot see any replies.

Outbound messages seem to work. Inbound, the messages are not showing. I use the web app and have been for some time now, to access and send messages from the desktop and from my android phone that is not the same number as my Verizon phone. I am not getting inbound messages since the 13th.
Is Verizon Messages a supported service ??????

Same for me starting Oct 16. I can send messages from my AT&T iPhone and my Mac but can only receive on my Samsung VZW phone. Since I am traveling and my VZW phone is not with me, I cannot receive texts.

Messaging is my #1 form of communication, so I certainly want to make sure that you are able to use Verizon Messages flawlessly. You mentioned in your post that you are using the app to send from your Android phone that does not have the same number as your Verizon phone, which is awesome. Around the 13th, do you remember making any changes to your device (new software, new apps, etc)? Is Verizon Messages working on your Verizon phone adaquately?

Verizon please see all messages and escalate because the issue is broad. Thank you.

I rely heavily on my messages to stay connected robmer65 so I understand the importance of making sure it is working properly. Let's see what we need to do get this resolved. What is happening when you are trying to sync your messages across the devices? Is the software on your phone and your messages + app up to date?

I have an iPhone 6, Mac, and work laptop (windows) and I use message+ on all three devices. On Friday October 14 the message+ app stopped receiving messages on all 3 devices. I have reinstalled the app on all 3 devices with no luck. I cannot see the incoming messages on the Verizon website either. Is Verizon looking into this issue? Are there any actions I can take on my side? Any help would be appreciated.

Software is up to date on all android tablets and windows PC's. Reinstalled then repaired PC version just in case. Still not input. Accessing web link to use online messaging does not work. Also Chrome never displays the screen, just sits their refreshing. Firefox seems to have other issues but this may be my issue. Explorer works. Using explorer shows no new messages since the 7th of October, consistent with the tablets. Looping a new text from my phone works to the phone. Sending address reported correctly as my phone number. No updates to other instances. Using Web app, I can send a message; however, the phone reports "No Sender Address Available" error so one does not know who is sending. using message plus on PC, text sent, again phone reports no sending address provided. After sending a new message from PC Message Plus, the history shows my web appl. message but no other message nor can I reply to them as they have no sender address. I still don't get phone or external texts by default, only the phone.

Additionally, in checking on the Microsoft Store for the Message application, there are comments about the broad failure of the applications and receiving/sending text messages just as is being reported here. So this issue seems to be fairly broad based.

So far I have posted several times here and they have not responded to me. Every person who Verizon has responded to has been treated as an isolated issue asking latest version have you tried the website version, ... Clearly there is a bigger issue here. My messages received were sporadic with the last 10/15 evening. Nothing since.

Three different Verizon customer support representative have weighed in on this post so far. This is a sure sign that the issue is stuck at the level where they piss in the customers' ears and basically say "try this, try that, it must be your fault". How about kicking this up the chain already to some engineers who can really address the problem.
It is absolutely ridiculous how Verizon has decided to build a quagmire rather than provide real customer support. Keep posting everyone, maybe we can overload their servers or at least use up so many resources that it becomes worth their while to actually admit there is a problem on their end and fix it.

To Verizon:
Issue Started Oct 13th. Clearly there is a software issue and you need to provide an update to all users. Revert back the changes in an update and then see if the issue is resolved. Then work on narrow down the issue within your update before rolling this back out. It is causing it a number of issues for all users. I can at least narrow this down, a multi media message will come through however any other normal text (Not multi media) is not coming through. Basically it will go through off the web app, but the messages are not being synced from devices. It worked completely fine prior to what ever you did on the 13th into the 14th. Some messages are coming through for specific #'s but not on others. Revert the software update, go back to development and test then re issue. This is too much of an issue and broad to numerous users for your IT group not to react quickly.
Thanks.

Oh and I already chatted with a virtual help person online yesterday and gave them specific examples. They said they would escalate this to engineers, but clearly the issue is Big. We pay too much money for issues in our service to come up like this, especially for it to be this widespread.
