I have become so frustrated with trying to get desktop-based messaging to work reliably in any context, whatsoever. Hoping someone can help me find some solutions.
Working on a MacBook Pro running Sierra 10.12.6. I can install the Verizon Message+ app on my computer, but the program hangs CONSTANTLY. I get the spinning beachball literally every time I click on a contact or prior conversation. The hanging lasts even longer if my conversation includes any MMS messages or picture media.
If I try to utilize the webpage-based messaging service, I can no longer even log on to the page. I enter my username and password and the page literally hangs and never refreshes or loads my conversations. This happens regardless of what browser I try (Safari, Chrome, Firefox).
Has ANYONE had any luck getting these seemingly simple applications to work well? Thanks in advance for any help-

RenaissanceMan, I use Messages+ on my computer all the time and understand the concern if you are unable to use it. I am here to help and get you a resolution. Are you having any issues reading the messages? Have you attempted to clear your cookies? Have you checked and verified your anti-virus or firewall is not blocking any connection?

I can read the messages fine. It is just that if I try to type anything in response, the program momentarily freezes with the spinning beach ball and I can't type or enter anything at all.
Cookies have been cleared, cache has been cleared, and I even completely reinstalled Mac OS X. Still the same problem. Also I am not running any anti-virus or firewall.
