I am receiving message blocked email responses similar to the following. What can be done? The details.txt attachment really isn't very helpful other than confirming it came from my legitimate @gmail.com sending address.

Same! I occasionally forward an email to my phone via the email-to-text gateway "@vtext.com" and just yesterday began getting the AUP issues. This appears to be an issue with the acceptable use policy at Verizon. Would love to know if someone it taking a look a this. It seems to have happened a couple of years ago as well (from what I found on some other forums).

We understand how important it is to receive any messages in a timely manner. Is this occuring with all messages sent using this method from your email?

I can't yet pin down the rhyme or reason much less what message triggered the problems. Seems like I'm receiving messages fine on my cellphone from others including things sent via an email account. Might have been transitory but unfortunately the error message doesn't include anything that is helpful. I'm going to perform some tests today to see if I can trigger an occurrence.

My wife has always sent time sensitive emails directly to my phone at VZWPIX.com. For the last month they started getting intermittent, sometimes not arriving to my phone for 12 hours or more and she was upset with ME. Now they are getting blocked completely and she gets an error:

After spending several hours over two days, mostly slogging through the stupid phone assistance to get to a real person, and multiple disconnects where I had to start over, I found a tech that said he would forward my issue to IT and to the business office. This morning, to my surprise, an email from my wife landed in my SMS on my phone with the normal notification. Happy day! I hope it is fixed for good.

Vtext has been retired as has VzPix. Business customers have a new app called EMAG, but I don't know anything about it.

Happy Monday! Vtext and VZpix are unsupported consumer email-to-text gateways that are shut down to prevent SMS spam. Vtext/VZpix is in a process of complete shutdown. Verizon is tightening the SMS spam filters for Vtext, to the point where eventually no one is able to use them.
Hope this info helped.

Is this an official VZ response? I am aware that VZ is in the process of discontinuing Messages+ and advising users to use Google Messages. But that shouldn't impact email to text. The availability of email to text by way of [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] and [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] are basic features that many other carriers similarly provide and serves an important purpose in the IoT and legacy device notifications world. For instance, I have UPS systems and other devices that provides event notifications by way of email addressing to a users cell phone number. Deprecating email to text seems rather extreme and counter productive.

I am surprised these apps have any functionality left at all. There were huge discussions in the forums a year ago from people who wanted to keep using Vtext/Vzpix, much like the pile of threads which appeared recently about the Messages+ shutdown.
If anyone is still using these apps, it's time for a different app. If you've got a business account, business customers have something called EMAG which replaced Vtext.

Just an update to my original issue, haven't seen any rejected messages in a while now. So maybe VZ fixed whatever was wrong.
On a somewhat related issue, a number of people responded that the ability to email to text, i.e., to cellnumber at vtezt.com or vzpix.com has been discontinued or shutdown. I don't think that is the case because I'm regularly able to utilize email to text such as with my computer UPS management software, a specialized power monitoring system and other devices that are capable of sending notifications via email. Further, I just reviewed the following VZ page -
https://www.verizon.com/about/account-security/email-to-text-faqs
that describes how to turn on or off email to text capability so as to limit spam and also to check status of that feature. I texted Status to 4040 and VZ reported that my email to text capability was on.

Verizon started rejecting email to text messages to my wife's phone a few day ago (@vzwpix.com). Checked Status to 4040 and it says email to text is allowed. Tried sending On to 4040 and still rejects email to text.

I haven't been getting any of the rejections for a while so hopefully it resolved but seemed random in the first place. Whatever everyone keeps saying about @VTEXT.com and @vzwpix.com being unavailable is just not true because I just sent myself an email to my phone using both domains and they came through fine. I think people are getting confused about the retirement of Verizon's Messages+ and VZ's recommendation to instead use Google Messages. Biggest problem I have with Goggle Messages is the inability to mark multiple messages and forward them in mass sequentially. Instead, I need to forward each message individually which is a real waste of time. Mesages+ did that wonderfully and I can't find any other decent texting app that does plus Messages+ handled large photo and mpg files very well while Google chokes on anything attached from within it's app. Have had better luck initiating a share by text from within photo gallery.
