Message+ for Windows computer not working

I'm now using Message+ on my Droid Turbo phone and LG G pad tablet.  I would like to use the app for my Windows laptop as well, but it doesn't seem to work.  I originally installed it yesterday, but when I entered the security code sent to my phone, it said it was incorrect.  After trying this multiple times, I decided to uninstall the program and re-install it this morning, but I am still having the same issue.  It takes about 3-4 hours for the security code to be sent to my phone and then the Message+ app on my laptop tells me it's incorrect when I try to submit it.  What's the deal, Verizon?
