What has happened  Verizon?

As of last week my Samsung tab can't sync messages  this was working perfectly prior.  My phone seems to work fine.  I say seems because it is getting  more text messages.  My tablet messages are sporadic at best.

Own up to this Verizon and fix it.  If this continues  I will find an app that works.

Again this started last weekend.  HELP US HERE.  I see that I am not the only one with this  issue .

Is that really any help?

This is stall tactics because Verizon has no clue how to fix this syncing problem .

We need help here - anyone at Verizon - HELP US

I am having the same problem as the others have reported above and more. About 2 months ago my desktop app started acting up the same way as my tablet. I Uninstaled Message+ on my Tablet and then reinstalled it and now it won't open at all!!,  Verizon did/changed something and now the app is corrupt and useless!

I think it is so funny that Verizon is putting people through all the troubleshooting maneuvers as if it is our fault. It is not. I actually started one of the threads on this subject.

I have 5 devices attached to my account with Message+ as that is the limit.

Two desktops, One laptop, two tablets. I have need and use for all the devices between work, home and travel. They all stopped working. I can send a message but the syncing does not work.

the solution form the ticket I submitted was to use the web portal access. But that times out and also you do not have access to all the photos for forwarding as with the desktop/tablet application.

I really do not understand how Verizon does not understand. It is a broken software.

Rather than putting us all thought he same rigmarole of maneuvers they should fix it. It worked fine for yearts and then recently stopped working.

I'm very sorry for the trouble you're experiencing with your tablet receiving text messages. I'd love to find the best solution possible. How often is the issue happening on the tablet? Do you have WiFi available at the time?

1st.,my phone is getting the messages .   My tablet isnt.

Both phone and tablet are on wifi in my house.

The tablet is receiving some messages but not all.  If I reply to a message on my phone and then get a reply from the sender those messages  the thread, aren't  showing up on the tablet.  I here the notification  on the phone but the message NEVER comes to the tabket.  The renders the app useless.  This is a new issue I have been using this app on both for a while and have been happy.  If I can't  get all text on the tablet I will be forced to look for a solution elsewhere.

I have Uninstaller and reinstalled the program at least 3 times.

Note too, there are others on this forum with the same issue . We need help, something happened with an app upgrade

wilsonjw42, the syncing of your text messages to your tablet through Verizon Messages+ is a great feature. Let’s make certain yours is working as it should. When do you encounter the error that it’s not syncing with the SMS server? Which tablet and smartphone are you using? What version of the app do you have on each device?

It is very disconcerting that Verizon won't answer the question. Samsung tablets are not syncing. Why?  Answers to all your questions:

How often is the issue happening on the tablet? Not getting any messages that are received on the phone app ever.

Do you have WiFi available at the time? Yes

Are you having trouble receiving messages from a specific make/model of phone?  Every phone that is owned by anyone who texts me

Does the tablet itself have the most recent software update? Yes downloaded today and yesterday

When do you encounter the error that it’s not syncing with the SMS server?  Whenever a text is sent to me, it comes on my phone but not on my tablet. Both are sitting in my lap.

Which tablet and smartphone are you using? Which smartphone is irrelevant since the phone works.  The tablet is a brand new Samsung which appears to be the same as others..

What version of the app do you have on each device? 6.3.5

Verizon, are you listening to us?  You keep asking the same questions.  I think you are stalling because you have no idea how to fix this.  This is happening on ALL tablets and ALL phones and ALL phone carriers.

This used to work great but VERIZON broke it.  It's not our tablet and phone equipment!

I set with both tablet and phone next to me.  The phone makes a sound to let me know there's a new text message.  The tablet - nothing.  I reply with the phone and the conversation NEVER shows up on the tablet - or only part of the conversation eventually makes it through.

We need actions - not more questions.

I certainly hope Verizon doesn't consider this resolved!  I've seen several Verizon responses that indicate the problem is fixed. It's not

My tablet is a Nexus 10 running Android version 5.1.1 and Verizon Messages version 6.3.5. My phone is a Motorola Z Force droid running Android version 6.0.1 and the same version of Verizon Messages, 6.3.5

Messages+ is a great feature. I love having this feature on my tablet. Let's make sure yours is working. Did this ever work properly? Has this ever worked properly? Can you remove and reinstall the application on the tablet?

I had already uninstalled / reinstalled prior to posting my original message. It does not help. This is a widespread problem. Probably on Verizon's SMS server since MMS messages are working. No need to make users jump through hoops as none of these types of suggestions will work

My Samsung Tablet - which was working perfectly until 2 weeks ago - is only receiving intermittent messages.  See my reply to RUTHW_VZW on 10-20.  Up until 2 weeks ago the app worked great on my Samsung Phone and my Samsung tablet.

Both my phone and tablet are using Messenger+  6.3.5.  NOTE - I have removed and reinstalled this app to my tablet at least 3 times.  I haven't been able get the app to work correctly on my tablet.  I believe there has been an app update recently.  My tablet operating system is up to date.

NOTE - I am not the only person posting here and we all have different phones and tablets and pcs.  AND NOTE we are all saying this is recent!

Besides this thread there's one STEFLO82 from Sept with exactly the same issue.

Verizion needs to own up to this problem and figure out what is going on.

If I can't use Verizon Messenger on both the phone and tablet I will need to move on and find another app that works all the time.

As I have explained before, I get some messages but not all - and if I reply on my phone I don't see the entire conversation on the tablet nor do I see replies to the message.  I wish there was a way to show you.  My messages are from various people and I don't know what carrier they all use but I can tell you that both my daughters are on Verizion and there has been lots of problems with their messages to me - again in the last few weeks!

We need help from Verizion - you want us to use the app - FIX IT

Having same problem. Some media messages do sync. Thought it was a setting on the new phone, but there are other threads that the problem started about two weeks ago, mine started noon yesterday.  Can't see where Verizon has posted a solution on any one of the threads although one user says his started working last night
