Message plus group text

I just got a new Samsung 6s and have been having problems with the group text functionality. My family sends a ton of group texts to each other, but the app makes me send individual texts to each person - it won't reply all. How do I change the default so when I get a group text it automatically replies to all? Or is there a better app to use that does this?

If you are using Verizon Message Plus:

Open the conversation

Tap on the header of the conversation

You'll see 'Recipients List'. Below this you'll see 'Recipients reply' to JUST ME/GROUP

Select 'GROUP'

That should help.
