Not receiving messages on computer app? I can send but not receive. Have uninstalled and reinstalled. Have disconnected computer via phone app and reconnected. It will say syncing but still same problem. Was working fine until few days ago. I have read all the forum and it's still not fixed. I HATE texting from my phone..prefer a laptop or computer. PLease Verizon fix the problem.

Agreed. So irritating to have a company representative supposedly trying to provide assistance and yet, it is so painfully obvious that they have not read or understood anything previously posted.
Does not inspire any confidence in a solution being presented.
Sadly, I experience the same thing frequently from many companies.

Agreed LymanT2020,
I'm hoping the other thread might attract some Technical Support.
jav6 (Sr. Member) seems to be asking @vzw_customer_support and @aarons_vzw for attention.
You might wish to monitor this other thread, in case something shows up:
[https://community.verizonwireless.com/t5/Verizon-Messages/Message-Plus-not-syncing-with-windows-10/m...]
I've updated my test send/receive between my devices. My Z30 has a different cell number from my other 6 devices/web page. Hopefully this screen snap is self explanatory.

Between thread: Message plus not working on Computer
And thread: Message Plus not syncing with windows 10
We've had responses from @vzw_customer_support members:
@amberf_vzw
@lorenb_vzw
@nicholek_vzw
@NicoleR_VZW
@pamelaf_vzw
@steveng_vzw
But, so far, no confirmation that any of them have replicated the issue.
And no solutions have been offered.
Could these just be "BOTS"?

@vzw_customer_support @coreym_vzw Also to clarify, has anyone within Verizon Tech Support looked at why the synchronization has been failing?

Hi Corey_M at VZ,
Yes, I believe we are still all having issues with syncing to Win10. Would be happy to send screen shots if you need them.

Dear @vzw_customer_support members:
@aarons_vzw
@amberf_vzw
@AntonioC_VZW
@bretta_vzw
@coreym_vzw
@edgart_vzw
@JoeL_VZW
PLEASE READ the fraking (Battlestar Galactica reference) posts!
@coreym_vzw, "To clarify, are you still experiencing an issue with" understanding the version of the English language these/us Members are using to compose their/our posts?
@JoeL_VZW, Have you "customer service representatives" READ the posts and forwarded the information to "Technical Support for investigation", as @jav6 (Sr. Member) asked?
@JoeL_VZW, "Have you tried uninstalling the updates on the" Verizon "integrated messaging service" applied when these FAILURES began? My evidence (mentioned in my posts) suggests that was sometime after 19 July 2019.
@vzw_customer_support, "Our goal is to help you move forward." That is why all of us Members have provided as much information about our "Verizon Message(+/s) FAILURES" as our individual technical skills can support.
@AntonioC_VZW, I for one, have done everything I could think of, short of offering to come in and analyze your computer code for you, to help you "isolate this issue" with your Verizon "integrated messaging service" FAILURES.
We are fortunate that @jav6 (Sr. Member), who states that all his Verizon Message apps are working correctly, is following our posts.
He has asked "@vzw_customer_support @coreym_vzw Also to clarify, has anyone within Verizon Tech Support looked at why the synchronization has been failing?"

Good afternoon all,
EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE WORKING AND NORMAL AGAIN, at least for my Samsung Galaxy Note 9, my Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 and my iPhone SE!
It seemed to start syncing again around 14:00pm Pacific Time.
All three of my platforms are in sync now - not sure what Verizon did, but it is working for me.
I hope it is now working for everyone else!
Blessings,
Matthew

I was delighted to read Matthew's (Member mbooher) report that "as of right now (17:15pm Pacific Time on Saturday, August 3, 2019), EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE WORKING AND NORMAL AGAIN".
With hope in my heart, beginning about 18:05:00 PDT Saturday, August 03, 2019, I ran my send/receive/sync tests again.
As I too am in the Pacific Time Zone, I thought I'd be served by the same or similarly updated Verizon "integrated messaging service" servers as Matthew's devices.
I am disappointed to report that my results have NOT changed.
The 8x8 matrix of results of my Send/Receive/Sync Verizon Messages conversations (SMS text) remains unchanged.
Exactly the same send/receive/sync results as in my original spreadsheet matrix (appended below).
I then spent (WASTED, as Verizon is not paying for my time) additional hours on my Windows 10 Home laptop: Disconnecting/Rebooting/Connecting, reviewing Conversation threads in, Uninstalling/Rebooting/Installing, and again reviewing Conversation threads in Verizon Messages (v2.0.2.0).
During these cycles, the Conversations were "deleted" and "reloaded" from the servers and the same "last successfully synced message was still 7/19/2019 - 2:11 PM PDT".
When I sign in to my Account on Verizon's website and go to Account : Text Online, ALL messages subsequent to 7/19/2019 - 2:11 PM PDT are there (see appended screen capture), including the tests I just ran, inspired by Matthew's post.
Matthew (Member mbooher), might you be willing to try sending a message from your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 or iPhone SE (whichever is your Primary Verizon cell number) to a cell number different from yours, receive a reply back from that other cell number, and then check if your Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 correctly synchronizes both sides of that Conversation thread?
May we assume that your ThinkPad is updated to a recent/current version of Windows 10 Pro?
If that does work, perhaps we can discover how your environment differs from mine.
If your situation has actually changed from "unable to keep in sync" to "working now", I can hold on to some hope that my situation may still get resolved.

Hi,
I have spent over an hour trying to get the gmail -> text(sms) to work with my verizon phone number, no luck. HOWEVER, if I send it from my MS Outlook account, it works instantly. What's up with that?
Thanks

Today, Wednesday, August 14, 2019, the Verizon Messages app for Android has been updated from 6.8.8 to 6.9.0.
On Monday, August 12, 2019 the Verizon Message+ app for Apple iOS was updated from 3.2.1 to 3.2.2.
After updating the app and rebooting each of my affected devices, I ran my send/receive/sync tests again.
I updated my Verizon Messages failure spreadsheet matrix with the new app version numbers (appended below).
There has been ONE CHANGE to the SUCCESS/FAILURE results as tabulated in my original spreadsheet matrix.
The Windows apps now FAIL to sync to Verizon Messages on their web page.
Verizon is doing something, but sadly they have not restored, but ADDITIONALLY DAMAGED, functionality that worked for years before 19 July 2019 (at least for me).
Thanks Verizon, your Windows functionality has been flushed down the toilet!

I, too, am experiencing this issue with both Verizon Message+ for PC AND Verizon Messages for Windows 10. Phone syncs up properly, but apps haven't synced since 8/12. There is NO way, in ANY app, to disable/enable Integraged Messaging.
Phone app is up to date. Message+ is version 1.0.17.0. Messages for Windows 10 was newly installed today (8/16) in an attempt to troubleshoot.
Please help!

In the Desktop app v1.0.17.0, you can go into Settings and 'Disconnect Device' which disables Integrated Messaging for that device.
In the Desktop app v2.0.2.0, you can go into Settings and 'Manage Devices' to disable Integrated Messaging for devices connected to the phone number.

I find it fascinating that the Verizon people are constantly trying to troubleshoot by implying that the end devices are the issue. I can tell you that I have gone through customer support and all the trials and tribulations of troubleshooting my devices only to come to the conclusion that it is not the end devices. It is clearly something that has changed on the Verizon end.
There is no synchronization with the phone and the computers.
In looking at the number of posts, clearly there are a great many individuals that use the online desktop application for text messaging. I have now gone backwards several years in my work flow as I cannot provide the communication as I need as there is not always service for my phone in my building , but my computer is hardwired and has Internet access; I have text capability and can work as usual. Now, I cannot.
I called earlier this week and was told I would hear from Verizon in 24 hours. I have heard nothing and received nothing in my email.
There is the same complaint from a great many end users at the same time and there are a great many differnt devices and situations for the end user. The only common denominator is the Verizon side and hence there is something on the Verizon end.
Currently I am unable to work and provide services as I need.

I'm on a Windows 7 computer and haven't been able to sync news messages to my desktop since July 25. I know there's a new version of Message+ out there, but is it compatible with Win7? I can't find a download link for a Win7 version - just links that take me to the Windows store for a Win8.1 and Win10 version. Can someone give me a link to install the new version for Win7 (if that'll help)?

It is a merry-go-round for sure.
I have a feeling it has to be bots, NO ONE can be that STUPID to ignore all the postages that have landed on the numerous threads.
This is a pure joke for support, pathetic...
