Mine has not worked since June either. What the heck are they thinking. I pay these guys $1000s of dollars a year for a service that works. Not getting what I am paying for. I am going back to Google Voice at least I can one of their 12 messaging apps to work.

Verizon, would you please fix this problem?
If I send a message on the Verizon Message Plus app or via my browser logged into the verizonwireless site on my Windows 10 PC, I do not see my messages on my phone. This has been going on for MONTHS.
When can we expect resolution to this problem? This is ridiculous. If you're going to offer an app and a browser version, it needs to work properly!
Is it time to switch wireless providers?
Fix the syncing issues!

conniemmsc, the Message+ Verizon Messages - Windows Desktop application is not compatible with Windows 10 computers. The Windows messaging client for Verizon messages is being temporarily removed to prevent syncing issues. We recommend using the messaging web client as a windows alternative. The Message+ team is aware and working on a resolution.

We always want to ensure we are providing the information you need JoeinSac. To be sure we have a complete understanding, can you clarify what you mean by 1st phone number on the account? Are you looking to use the Message plus service for all lines on the account under one line's login? If so, that option would not be possible as each separate line has it's own login for this service.

gonsphoto,
Are the messages you're sending through the desktop app showing up on your phone's app? The messages I'm sending through my Windows 10 laptop are getting delivered but they're not showing up on my phone like they used to.

Verizon has released an upgrade of Messages for Android from 6.8.5 to 6.8.8.
I reran my test send/receive between my devices.
The results remain identical. The sync failures continue.
Between thread: Message plus not working on Computer
And thread: Message Plus not syncing with windows 10
We've had responses from @vzw_customer_support members:
@amberf_vzw
@aarons_vzw
@kevinm_vzw
@lorenb_vzw
@nicholek_vzw
@NicoleR_VZW
@pamelaf_vzw
@steveng_vzw
@ubaldoj_vzw
But, so far, no confirmation that any of them have replicated the issue.
And no solutions have been offered.
Wondering if these might just be "BOTS"?

Has anyone had any success resolving this issue. I've been experiencing this same problem, i.e. Message+ App on Windows 7 can send but not receive for 1-2 weeks.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but there are no differences. I was hoping for some help from @vzw_customer_support , but perhaps that's wishful thinking.
As stated by others, it actually synchs older messages that were received prior to this period (1-2 weeks).

Here is what I did to get everything working on Windows 10 PC.
1. Open a browser and log in to your account.
2. Click on ACCOUNT and from the dropdown menu select TEXT ONLINE
3. From the web browser, disconnect all mobile devices (phones & tablets)
4. Reconnect your mobile devices
5. From the web browser disconnect your PC
6. Close the browser
7. Delete the MESSAGE+ app
8. Reboot your PC
9. Reinstall the MESSAGE+ app
10. Open the MESSAGE+ app and link it to your cell phone.
After that, everything seems to be working.

On Sept 18, I was talking with my brother via Google message on laptop. And I was laughing because suddenly the Verizon app came alive again under Windows 10. And it's working today.
There was a sizable Win10 update a few days ago that may have played into it working again. Or it could be just a coincidence.
I'm still using the Google one primarily though and Verizon notifications I turned off.

So, after reading the last two posts I decided to reinstall message + ( the old version). Woot, it is working again..
It sync'd immediately with all my conversations...
Go figure...now I am going to download the one from MS store and see if it works....

After further inspection, it is hit and miss on the syncing, some of my older conversations did not update, the most current ones did though.
Still fubared somewhat.
I just received a message that popped up on PC 1.17 app, first one since the problem started way back whenever...
Progress is slow...

In the Windows 10 thread related to this support made this post:
"Thank you for that information. We currently are having an issue with the updates for that app. We have a temporary work around for this time Being: uninstall updates to Verizon Messages (settings> apps & notifications > Verizon Messages > upper right corner 3 dots> uninstall updates), you can also use your default messaging app for the phone till the concern has been addressed. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if this helps. EdgarT_VZW"
This looks to be a procedure for the Android phone (which I have). I'm a bit concernced about proceeding with it since it pops up a message which states, "Replace this app with the factory version? All data will be removed."
Has anyone else tried it? Did you lose all of your historical texts? I'm hopeful that the app on the phone would resynch and reload all of the history.

My apologies Member studey,
I have not tried resetting/reinstalling Messages(+) on any of my 6 devices.
I have only updated Messages+ on my 2 Android devices (6.8.5 to 6.8.8).
I'm hoping/waiting for any of the @vzw_customer_support members to show some evidence that they've ACTUALLY READ our posts and my "send/receive matrix".
My theory/understanding of how Verizon Messages works is that none of our installed apps actually "talk" to each other.
Whichever app we use, sends our text to the Verizon servers and their "apps" check their list of our "Devices registered with integrated messaging service", then send the "message packet" out first to the intended "recipient" and then to each of our other devices, in turn, to keep them all in "sync".
Both my Android devices sync with each other and my 3 Windows(7 and 10) devices sync with each other, but none of the Android devices syncs with any of the Windows devices.
Somehow, my Apple device and Verizon Web sync FROM all other devices, but neither will sync TO any Windows device!
My guess is that the Verizon Maintenance Analysts/Programmers are unable to understand how their "integrated messaging service" processes the "Devices registered with" matrix.
I don't believe our "client" apps have anything to do with this FAILURE.
