I used to use vtext.com when sitting in front of a computer at work or using my laptop at home. It was much more convenient and faster than typing on a little phone keyboard. Verizon replaced vtext.com with messages + app but it does not work behind a firewall where proxy settings are required. Other things like skyp, zoom, other messaging app all have proxy settings but Verizon Message does not? Am I missing something or is this an obvious missing piece of this application? If it truly can not work this way, it does not seem like a comparable replacement for vtext.com...actually, it becomes unusable, so it's not a replacement at all.

Spoke too soon! There is a web app, much like vtext.com, which would seem to work fine when using a computer and browser. Thanks!
