I'm no longer able to search for a GIF within the Messager + app. I saw another question on this but can't find it and the rep kept saying that search in sent texts was no longer availble which is NOT the problem. Why would this be eliminated? For what it's worth we have Samsung phones.

Thanks for reaching out about the recent Message changes. As of 10/20/23 the search button to find GIFs, images, and videos is being removed. You can still send them, they’ll need to be inserted based on your specific device. For example, my iPhone has a GIF option on the keyboard to insert them as you type a message. None of the already shared media in Message+ will be affected, just the change to remove that search button. We will send you a private message for further troubleshooting.

But why change this?! What was it hurting? The keyboard option is trash and not as easy to use. Now, we would have to get a 3rd party keyboard for better functionality which puts users at greater risk of information being leaked and or stolen.
Can we have an option to turn this on at least?
I agree. Was there an issue with this so that it had to be removed? I think we pay a whole lot of money for Verizon and deserve to have this available to us as an easy option. And can you give better instructions on how to load something else?
I'm sorry, can you not send a private message to the previous poster, and rather send a public message so we can all benefit from this? Do I need to change my messaging app?

As much as we resist change, p technology is always evolving.. In addition to Messages+, other internet based messaging apps are available in Play Store or App Store with features that may improve your exprience.
