Messages+ app not allowing me access on Mac after upgrading to a new phone

I recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy and the Verizon Messages+ app stopped working. So I uninstalled on the Mac and re-installed. Now when I try to get the app working again by having a code sent to my phone to verify my number I get a Internal Server Error. Any suggestions? I am running Catalina on my Mac.

We're sorry for all the issues you're encountering with the Verizon Message+ app. Have you tried uninstalling the application, clearing cookies and re-installing?
