Messages + app sending multiple texts

My messages + app has been repeatedly sending my messages today. Even after turning my phone off and back on it does it. I am not getting duplicates in the online format but just on the app on my phone (Note 20).

Ashley73, I know that getting duplicate messages can be bothersome and we want to stop this from happening on your device. What we will do is go through some troubleshooting to see what is going on. Is this a new device? Do you have Verizon Messages on another device besides your phone?
