Messages show sending for hours

I uninstalled all updates to the message plus app a couple of weeks ago when they screwed with the update. I did not install the new update because I don't want to chat or anything else, just send texts. The app worked fine.  Now, for the last few days, my messages show sending but they never actually send. I have rebooted my phone 2-3 times a day for the last five days in order to get messages to go out.   I would like to know if there is a way to fix it before completely uninstalling the app.  I have to agree with the others, somebody really knows how to screw up a good app.

Just for clarification, are you having the same issue when connected to wifi? I do see that you mentioned that the updates to the app were uninstalled. We do recommend that you install the latest update for the app and test the messages. Are you also having the same concern when using the pre installed message app?
