Highly ..Highly Frustrated!!!
I have been a faithful, loyal Verizon customer. I have enjoyed traveling and listening to others complain when their coverage has dwindled to nothing and Verizon is still going strong but what I can’t stand is a customer being mistreated. I purchased a Thunderbolt in September 2011 and it was receiving duplicate text messaging, the phone was swapped out and eventually “upgraded” to a better phone a Rezound. However, the issue continued and the Rezound has been swapped out 4(four) times. Most recent Rezound was received a month ago and trouble tickets have been submitted for the issue. I’ve been lied to several times by the representatives and that’s fine. I have been told, it was a network issue and they were in the process of adding towers which would resolve the problem. One month later when the problem not resolved I called back and was told no towers went up. Most recent problem is I am sending a text message to one contact in my phone and can receive replies from several people asking who I am. I sent a picture to my husband yet, it ended up going to another person’s phone and the picture could get out. How would you feel if this was you? You would be just as upset. The Tech Support agent Octavia did try to assist me abut was advised she could not swap me into a different device because I was swapped in to the Rezound and I could go back to the original device. This has been going on for a year and the original warranty is about out yet the duplicate text message problem isn’t resolved and the new issue, which is highly unacceptable and is still taking place even now, makes me, the consumer , feels like Verizon could care less just make sure to pay monthly or get cut off but we can care less about you and your privacy and the networking issues we are having. How else do we explain this? So Im stuck with a Rezound that gets duplicate messages and it sends text messages and MMS messages to people who aren’t in my contacts, I haven’t synced any applications to the phone besides Google to alleviate being blamed for the problems previous agents have done BUT Verizon cant help me. And to cancel my contracts, I have 3 phones is $400. Does anyone care to help me here?
Ouch! have the Reps suggested a Factory Reset i don't know if that would help or not.. but it would allow you to re-inter your Accounts and to clear some or all of the issues possibly i can't Guarantee) There was an issue with Text messages going to the wrong Customers but that was if i remember right a few years ago.. It's terrible what's going on) and hard to trust when sensitive messages are falling in the Wrong hands.
And i can see why it would Anger you when your turning to Customer Service and Getting the Cold Shoulder. May i ask did you ask to Talk to a Super Visor or Manager at the time you talked to the C.S.R.
Ive done so many Factory Data Resets also theyve given information for another type of reset and it hasnt worked. Today, 10/12 messages still going to the wrong people!!! All I get is we will open another trouble ticket maam.
