Why do some of my messages fail to send with Messenger Plus? I don't have any issues with my Note, just my work phone which is an Edge 7. My Edge is with US Cellular but I thought Messenger Plus was supposed to be compatible with most carriers. I text job requests all day long, sending 100s of texts a week. It is vital my texts go through. Seeing the Failed to send message is so very frustrating

c_boyd, I depend on my messages working. Let's work together to figure this out. You might have to go to your provider but we sure can help. Does this happen when you send to a specific person? Are you using Wi-Fi? Did you try to remove the app and add it back?

I tried my carrier first, and they couldn't do anything to make it work, so
they said to contact you. My co-worker is having this same problem (we
both have the Samsung Edge 7 through US Cellular).
The problem seems to be when our texts are long, although I have had it
happen with short texts too. They do not break up into 2 smaller texts
like most messaging does. Also, sometimes it takes a while before the
failed notification comes up. You can imagine how frustrating this is, we
are a staffing company and send 100s of texts out a week - our
communication with our staff is through texts. It does not happen with
just a specific person. I am using WI FI, but it happens even when I am
not. I am afraid to uninstall and re-install because I can't lose the
texts I have stored. And now to top it off, when my boss texts me, she gets
an error, the error message turns gray and an ! by it. She has to touch
the ! to get the option to send as SMS/MMS.
My thought is, do I have some goofy setting turned on that my texts are not
breaking up into multiple texts when they are too long? I do not have any
kind of character count, so I have no idea if they are too long. But then
again, like I said - it happens with short texts once in a while as well.
This is beyond frustrating. I had texted one of our staff that she did not
need to be to work until 1:00 and she didn't get the text because it failed
and she arrived at 7am. I am really hoping you can help me with this.
Thank you!!

c_boyd- We understand the importance of making sure our text messages are going through at any given time. Sending text is my best way for communication as well. Letโs dig a little deeper into this matter.
When you originally downloaded the Messages plus app did you sign in with a Verizon number? Also, are you having this same issue when using the default message app that came with your phone?

Hi,.
No I signed in with my work phone which is a US Cellular number. I don't
know about the other messenger app because I have never used it.

I have the same issue, and no one from support thought this was important, apparently.
