I recently got a new number. Now when I send texts it turns them into group messages with my old number as a 3rd recipient?

It only happens with select contacts which I send a message to. Question? If the person that I'm messaging still has a message box open from my previous phone number, then when I send a new message it would create a group message correct?

That's good to hear that everything else is working for you. Getting those messages to stop create a group message is a must. We want to get this resolved for you.
Typically, phones would not know if the new number is associated with the old number. However, have they tried deleting those messages from their phone or deleting your contact and re-adding you as a new one with your new phone number?
